Jay Z recently teamed up with Vote Again partner organization HeadCount to create a PSA that encourages young people to vote again in 2010.

The spot features Jay Z noting that young people have changed the world. Indeed, for over the last decade we’ve seen an increase in youth turnout. Jay Z wraps up the spot saying “Fight for what’s right, fight for what you believe in, and stay forever young.” Jay Z delivered this message to a huge crowd during his headlining performance at the Bonnaroo music festival in Tennessee on June 12.

According to HeadCount executive director Andy Bernstein, the moment shown in the PSA was a powerful experience:

“In a year when there is such negativity in this country, Jay-Z’s positive message is jolting and inspirational. When he told the crowd at Bonnaroo ‘We changed the world,’ it was a truly electric moment. Thousands of people got goosebumps, and I knew it would make an unforgettable PSA.”

While the public service announcement premiered today on Rolling Stone, it will also run on CBS, Fuse and other major networks.
